The NYS Capital District Chapter serves Albany, Columbia, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren and Washington Counties.

Who We Are

The Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) Capital District Chapter is a volunteer organization for persons with hearing loss, their friends, families, and other concerned individuals. We are a nonprofit organization and a chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America.

What We Do

At HLAA, we are committed to supporting each of our members, as well as their families. We provide education on a number of topics related to hearing loss. Additionally, we foster social opportunities for individuals with hearing loss, as well as their families. We encourage the dissemination of information on issues related to hearing loss to the community at large. We sustain and support the interests of people of all ages with hearing loss.

Our Mission

The mission of the HLAA is to open the world of communication to people with hearing loss by providing information, education, support, and advocacy.
